hi all
i've flown single line kites before but dual line ones I find difficult.

Recently got a solero kite but never been able to fly it right

I've attached a picture it looks like it is bent and that is why it keeps swerving one way

the kite looks like this now:

as you can see one where I put the red lines they look different

whole kite looks bent is it broken beyond repair?
can anyone help?

get a new stick thing???

build it with the stick thing the other way round to bend it back again???

use the stick to whip other guys arses when you are all showering together ???

it doesnt look right, but it doesn't look broken, have you got a picture of the whole thing?

Hi yes I do this is what I also took yesterday:

those are one of each side.

how do I get it working? when I take both those bits off they both look fine it is only when I put them on to that rod one of them goes really offline

the whole kit looked bent to me yesterday and I struggled to fly it kept crashing down. any ideas?

I really should get my old stunt kite out and get some new line for it, my old line was massive but it broke :(

I had one of those kits and the bottom bars were the same size it shouldnt bend like that.

Edit: Just noticed you fixed it.

I need to get mines out. Not the same as yours as my sister managed to smash it into the ground. (after i about beheaded some guy on a spanish beach with it LOL)

the bar on the left is not in the socket properly
check the main strut is straight and stable.
adjust the middle so it's half way along and if there is any bowing then it's the same both sides.
make sure you're stand offs (the little bars) are the same lenth too.

tbh it should all be carbon fiber poles anyway and you can pick them up cheap online and cut to size if need be

Looking at it, i would say that the middle loop, isn't actually in the middle of the pole, which is why it isn't bent at all on one side, and massively bent on the other. Other than that kites like that are easy to fly. Just practise keeping it up and straight to start with then get a feel for what moving your hands do. You will be doing square loops and round loops and quick loops before you know it. Getting to go along the floor skimming is fun too, although if it skims too much then it crashed and tumbles lol.

oh okay thanks

looks like it needs to be slided one way to release the rod

yep SORTED thanks
that circle in the middle was out of place making the whole kite bent

now how do I get the bugger in the air? lol
