Dual-link DVI output on a Sapphire AGP Radeon X800Xt?

Hi, all.

Does anybody know whether or not the Sapphire Radeon X800XT on AGP has a dual-link DVI output at all? I know the card has a DVI output, but as it's a second-hand effort I have no idea as to what is actually on the card.

Why do I want to know? I'm after a Dell 3007WFP-HC, so I need to know if the card will display the 2560x1600 properly.

Cheers for all help.

I'm sure my X800XT PE had one VGA, one DVI output and S-Video.

It did :). Just found this.

That's cool, but I'm not sure it answers the original question... whether or not the output is dual link DVI. It could well be that the one DVI port = single link, but I'm not sure.

Cheers, all the same. :)

As Sirrel Squirrel has pointed out. It's single link. There'd have to be 2 for dual link. That's why I posted the picture.

If dual link is what you're after then why not sell that card second hand and put the money towards a X1950Pro for £70 if that will help you with the new LCD screen?. Also it's a better card than the X800.

Agreed.

That's cool and fair enough - I was afraid it would be the case.

Unfortunately, a 1950Pro would be completely wasted in my system (it's only a Baston 2500) and I'll probably upgrade in the next few months, anyway.

I suppose the key thing is that it's an AGP card, so upgrades aren't the cheapest option. :(

Thanks for all your help, guys. :)
