Quick question.

I have 2 x 24" monitors

Going to purchase a 7850 soon and noticed it doesn't come with dual DVI like my 5850. With the feature available on the card, i presume the cable with split DVI signal into two and I can use the monitors normally?

A dual-link DVI cable is a single cable. They are generally used for running at high resolutions, e.g. 2560x1600. If your monitors are running at 1920x1080 then you will be fine with single link DVI cables.

If you plan to run two screens off the 7850 your monitor will need to have an HDMI or displayport input, or you'll need a converter to hook up the second screen.

If the monitors are DVI only then connect one monitor using the DVI output and the second using a HDMI to DVI cable or adapter.

Not sure the miniDP to DVI adapter above would work as it's not active.

If the monitors have other inputs then let us know.

Yeah the monitors are NEX Multisync 24WMHX3. Plenty of connections. I'm so use to DVI, will this alter my monitor colour profiles if i use different connections from my graphics card?

Is that the NEC MultiSync 24WMGX3?

I couldn't find a 24WMHX3.

You can connect one monitor directly to the DVI connector on the graphics card the other directly to the HDMI.

I've no idea about the colour profile thing but as both will be using basically the same digital signal I'd hope it'd be OK.
