Hi,

I have a 19" windscreen LCD, and a 15" crt next to me, and i'd like to dual screen this. Only thing is, when i use the nVidia console to do it, it makes both screens the same size, witch makes one not really useable.

I'd like 1440x900 on one and 1024x800 on the other.

Anyknow a way to do this?

Ultramon :)

I've got an ATI card, and I can run a 1920x1200 and a 1280x1024 one next to it. All this with the Windows Display properties.

Can nVidia cards not do this?

Thanks for the info on ultramon, i was wondering the same thing.

With nVidia you can have 2 screens at different resolutions, but spanning the 2 screens, not cloning. I want to clone my 17" with my LCD TV, so this util may do the job, will give it a go....

Someone please correct me if i'm wrong though.

You cant have cloned screens at differant resolutions.

If they arent the same rez then they cant be identical and hence 'clones'.

This is what I wasn't sure about, but this is from Ultramon website:

Mirroring, also called cloning, means showing the same thing on 2 or more monitors.
UltraMon offers a very flexible software mirroring solution:
Use different resolutions for the mirror source and destination monitor

Not given it a go yet, although I do believe as it's done in software theres going to be a bit of a performance hit...
