Dual monitor flicker x1900xtx

I have a strange issue with my dual monitor configuration, the primary display flashes an image every so often for a split second, the image seems to resemble what’s being displayed on the second monitor although with the duration its being displayed it’s hard to tell for certain.

I'm using the catalyst 7.5s but have been experiencing this with other driver versions.

The monitors are Dual Viewsonic VX922's connected via DVI.

Any ideas how to cure this behaviour?

I would like an answer too as I'm going to be using dual screens with my 1900xtx, just so I can prepare myself if the issue happens with me.

I had this with my 1900XT when I had it with my dual screens, never found a cure though. Bizarre.

been doing a bit of research on this and it seems to be a common problem with ATI cards and Dual Monitors, A couple of things people have tried with mixed results include:
* Dissable Auto Detection of Displays in CCC
* Increase the memory voltage a few % eg, to 1.5v

these have worked for some but not others.
