After going through excessive tutorials on things. I find that tabbing in and out programs can get quite annoying and you sometimes loose your place.
So for my new build im going to go for another monitor. I know what monitor im buying and all its just i dont know what else i need to set it all up. Do i need any adaptors or anything like that?

Both of the monitors are different. One is 20" LCD non HD and the one im planning to buy is 22" LCD HD (would this matter) BUT my plan was to use the non HD as something i can put underneath the other one which is on the wall when i need it and when i dont i can just pull the plugs out and have the wires neatly clamped up to the wall till i need it again. I dont like having my monitor to high up so i will have to take it out and put it down by the side of the pc. I cannot put side by side because there is no room.

its very straight forward as long as you have two outputs on your graphics card (and even if you dont you can add a second cheap graphics card for the second monitor)

just plug them in and off you go..

there is either DVI or VGA connections on your monitors, so worst case you might need an adaptor to change from one to the other depending on your graphics card

other than that you might want a nice utility called ultramon which does nice things for dual screens

1st thing, check your graphics card

thanks paul11 !
I cant really check my graphics card atm im waiting for the new GT300s to come out before i start buying the parts for my new build. Aslong as is straightforward ill see what happens :) thanks

Id be surprised if the GT300's dont have dual outputs. Just make sure to make sure when you buy it lol.
