One of my sons is wanting dual monitors on his PC, one will be a Benq 2450 VGA and DVI-D and the other possibly An Acer AL1916W only VGA.
His video card is a R5850 Twin Frozr II and has the following.
DisplayPort x 1
Dual-link DVI x 1
VGA (via DVI to D-Sub adaptor) x 1
HDMI x 1
Easiest way for me is to use VGA to VGA and HDMI to VGA or DVI-D but the manufacturers website says
- ATI Eyefinity supports 3 monitor outputs simultaneously. (one of them must be DisplayPort)
Does this apply to using dual monitors also.
Then I would need to go Display port to DVI-D and VGA to VGA
Anyone tell me if this is good to go before I order the cables and adapters.
Cheers
Dave
