Dual Monitor in Ubiuntu

I installed Ubuntu on my Laptop (spec in Sig) and all was fine, love Ubuntu its got a nice feel to it compared to most Linux Distros I've used.

Only one Problem I found!...

I can't get it to Dual Monitor the 16" Laptop display and the 22" HD screen I mainly use!!..

It will only show the 16" Laptop Display.

I tried following a work around I found on the google!, but this only fudged the install and it wouldn't get to the Login screen!..

Anyone with a Laptop with nVidia Graphics got a Dual Screen system working on Ubuntu??

Definitely got nvidia drivers installed? run "nvidia-settings" from command line, and check you have the 2nd monitor enabled. As its a laptop you might need to do the daft "function + (X)" key sequence, to get the monitor working (same as how you would in windoze).

Do you have the nvidia monitor settings gui? You should be able to do all of the configuration in there.
