Dual Monitor Issue

Hi,

I have just bought a new 24" monitor to replace my primary 19" (the deal of the week one from ocuk actually) so i now have 24" primary and a 19" secondary. Previous just had 2 19".

Now before, when i started a game the 2nd monitor would keep the extended desktop but curser wouldnt go past the main monitor, now it does

So i start a game say counterstrike or company of heroes, move curser "off screen" and now it actually goes off screen onto my 2nd display as if i was at desktop.

I have tried updating drivers.

If i alt tab out then in it fixes it, but not ideal solution as can make game go gay.

Any ideas?!!!!

Not sure if its related, but in COH i got the issue of curser turning to a line (few others on net seem to have it) where i didnt before. All seems related to having 2 screens.

I occasionally have this problem in some games. Usually its only at loading screens. In-game it doesn't happen at all. I haven't found a fix except don't take the cursor off your primary screen.

Can you confirm if this happens actually in-game, like turning through 360 while playing an FPS or just loading screens.

Looks like ill have to remember to disable 2nd monitor before i game

just an idea but try switching the monitor ports round and changing the primary monitor in display properties, it might sort itself out. I only ever noticed this on the loading screen for older games like Raven Shield.
