Dual monitor issue

I chose to put this in the Windows subforum because this only occurs in Windows 10. I rolled back to Windows 7 and had no issues.

My second monitor is acting strangely. When I drag a window around it the window flickers and distorts so strongly it gives me eye-strain, kinda like the monitor is running at an incredibly low refresh rate. Video playback appears to be unaffected. I checked all my settings and nothing seems to be amiss.

However, if I set my second monitor to be my primary monitor, the issue disappears entirely. Works completely as I would expect it to.

I don't even know where to start. I can't find any settings that might change how my monitor functions when it is set to be an extended display rather than the primary screen.

If you upgraded from windows 7 to 10, you'll probably need to get the latest windows 10 drivers for your GPU and install them. Same goes for all drivers really.

I was under the impression that Windows 10 kept my drivers up to date for me, it's partially why I upgraded.

I was wrong. It appears to be fixed now, thanks!

Never rely on drivers built-in or downloaded from windows update. It might be fine for minor things but GPU drivers should always come direct from the AMD/nvidia/intel/etc.

This, every other driver I found is fine for Windows 10 but GPUs they always seem to lag behind a fair bit.
