Hi Guys,
So from what I have found online this is something that just seems to happen to certain people and no real reason why. Basically if I have a second monitor plugged in, main 144hz and 60hz second. If i have any kind of video playing i.e Twitch, Youtube on the second monitor then my main monitor goes super choppy and seems to be at 60hz. Yet, there are people who say they have different refresh monitors and can have multiple things on the second monitor and not affect gaming.
I have tried:
Disabling hardware acceleration on Chrome.
Reinstall of Windows.
Putting the refresh rate from 144 to 120hz.
Plugging the second monitor in the motherboard and run off on board graphics instead of the GPU.
Tried a number of Nvidia drivers.
So... i'm stuck. No idea what else i can do and have no idea how some people can have this issue and not others.
I do i know some people are still on Windows 7 and suggest disabling Aero but this is not an option for me as some of the games i play required Windows 10.
If anyone has any other options or ideas please let me know.
Last resort will be to buy another 144hz monitor to match the refresh but I don't really wanna spend the money on this as i'm currently saving for a house.
Regards
