Dual monitor lag Windows 11

Hi,
I currently have a dual monitor setup and have had the same monitors for quite sometime without issue until now. I recently installed a 6600xt GPU and did a fresh install of Windows 11.

I'm pretty sure I didn't have this issue before but for some reason I am getting stuttering on one of my displays. It only happens on one of the monitors and only when its set as the secondary display. When I make it the main display the issue goes away. The other monitor appears fine when its set as main or secondary.

What I mean by stutter is when I am moving a window around on the screen there is an obvious stutter/lag.

I know its not the card as I fitted my old 5500xt and the issue remains.

I am using DisplayPort connections on both monitors but cant imagine its the cable as the monitor works fine when set to main display.

Both monitors are set to the same refresh rate of 75Hz & same resolution 2560 x 1440.

I have tried different versions of the Radeon drivers/software.

Does anyone have any ideas please?

I thought I'd add that Freesync was enabled on both monitors. I am pretty sure I disabled this whilst checking the problem but only on the display with the issue.

I have since turned Freesync off on both monitors and the issue appears to have resolved itself.

If it was fine on 10 then it could be an 11 bug.

Yep, the stutter/lag is still present at 60Hz with Freesync enabled on both monitors.

odd i dont get this running 2x 4K monitors one at 120hz and 1 at 60hz BUT im on gsync not freesync.
so sounds like DRiver bug to me

Yeah I do think its driver related. Shame really as I do want to use Freesync.

Dual monitors also for me at 1440p, one at 165hz and the other at 60hz, both at 1440p.
Both running great, no issues. Ran fine with W10 and also with W11.

But I'm using Gsync. Perhaps a driver issue, as suggested.
