Hi Folks, need some help if possible. First my setup, basically a HTPC setup: HD 5770, monitor plugged in via HDMI-DVI adapter, Amplifier Plugged in via HDMI-DVI adapter, with Samsung TV connected to AMP.
Under Windows 7, I had both connected permanently, but was able to switch off the TV or AMP independently, without affecting the monitor. Installed Win 8 over the weekend, and now when I switch off the TV or amp, the monitor goes blank, and I have to disconnect the amp from the graphics card, to restore picture on the monitor.
Help gratefully received, I've tried everything I can think of
