Yes - ultramon will let you set individual settings for each display. I run my 20" and 24" monitors in dual display both at their native resolutions.

I used to run a 17" 1280x1024 and a 15" 1024x768 before I had ultramon - "dualview" on NVIDIA cards just worked fine.

Can you have different refresh rates? I had my retired CRT hooked up to the VGA briefly and tried the extended desktop, but it was stuck on 60 Hz.

You should be able to change it in windows display properties - make sure you click on the monitor that you want to modify before selecting advance properties button.

I've always use the inbuilt programs with ati and nvidia.

Mainly use it to play warcraft and a divx on the 2nd screen.

i tried ultramon its ok...but i wanted mine cloned to my lcd and ive set the resolution on both and works but the fonts look horrible on the lcd and i tried to play a movie and a game and it took for ever to update just a waist of time

shame if i could combine the nvidia one and ultra id be sorted
