Hi,

Having trouble with VLC/quicktime, I have my primary monitor connected to my mac pro and my plasma tv is connected to the second dvi port. Both work I should point out.

I can drag vlc or quicktime over to the plasma tv, but as soon as I click "fullscreen mode" it jumps back to my primary monitor and then goes fullscreen.

How can I get fullscreen mode on the plasma with either quicktime or vlc, or even another program?

hmmm it seems the only way I can get fullscreen on the plasma is if I enable mirror mode through preferences. Its not really a problem. Only need this to work for the odd occassion when my ps3 cant stream it.

Has anyone got a better fix for this?

Also - the controller (the box with the play / pause / volume controls etc) has to be on the screen that it is to be maximised on.

Drag the controller across to the secondary screen with the actual video window and this will make the video play full screen on the secondary screen.

NicePlayer works nicely for me: it maximises on whichever display the windows is on.

Plus it's a far nicer interface than QuickTime Player :)
