Dual Monitor setup - dumb question!

My PC has a GA-F2Z85XM motherboard which has a DVI-D port supporting up to 2560 x 1600.

I already have an Eizo S2242W 1920 x 1200 monitor and I'm getting a Dell U2412M 1920 x 1200 monitor to use alongside it.

Both monitors have DIV connectors with all the pins - at least I know the Eizo does as I looked, and the photo of the one I'm getting has one as well.

However I have no idea what I need to do to connect both of them! Get a DVI-splitter / dual link cable? Add another video card? Baffled! Unfortunately the new monitor doesn't have an HDMI port, though I do have a DVI-HDMI converter so that's another possibility.

The mobo has three outputs - VGA, DVI & HDMI.

APU with integrated AMD Radeon™ HD 8000/7000 series graphics:

* To use the onboard graphics ports, you must install an AMD APU with integrated graphics.

1. 1 x D-Sub port

2. 1 x DVI-D port, supporting a maximum resolution of 2560x1600
* Support for 2560x1600 resolution requires both a monitor and cable that support Dual Link DVI.
* The DVI-D port does not support D-Sub connection by adapter.

3. 1 x HDMI port, supporting a maximum resolution of 1920x1200

The Dell will come with a DVI-DVI cable and I plan using that with the HDMI-DVI adapter. No way will I use a VGA cable - the display quality on my Eizo using VGA is awful, there's not point in paying good money for a good monitor and hobbling it.

Oh dear. I can't use the DVI/HDMI adapter I have as it's too wide - the HDMI port is beside the DVI one, not above or below it.

If I put it at the other end - plugged into the monitor - I would need a male / female HDMI cable. Is that the best solution? It's the one that would lead to the fewest bits & pieces used to connect things.

Or, since the screen has a DisplayPort socket, is there a better solution?

For example, this?
