Dual monitor setup question

Hey!

I'm looking to get x2 27" monitors mostly for work, with some gaming.

I was looking at getting two of the seemingly popular S2721DGF but I got thinking..

For gaming I don't see myself using both so was thinking about the S2721DGF and something else, maybe the S2721DS?? which looks similar but cheaper.

Is going for two different, differently calibrated, panels going to just annoy me?

*I had bought and returned the GB3461WQSU-B1 because I just didn't feel it was ideal for productivity, I like having one monitor infront and one at a sharp angle to the side.

Depends on you really, I have two different screens - even different resolutions and it's not a big deal. The colours on the IPS screen are much better than the old TN panel next to it.

I'm thinking of getting the same monitor, already have a 27" Dell IPS screen (can't remember which one sadly) as my main one but it doesn't have variable refresh tech

is 165hz on the second monitor necessary? i would just go with a similar DELL IPS panel that's 60hz for the secondary

I have to say that when I use two, a calibrator is essential for me. Very often the monitors are wildly different.
