dual monitor setup

I recently bought a new tft and was looking to run it alongside my old crt monitor, it works, but I have an issue scrolling to the 2nd screen if the first is running something 3d.

Before this I was using a laptop as an extended desktop using synergy, which works fine for scrolling off the side of one screen while running a game. Im just hoping the same thing can be achieved with a normal dual screen setup.

Any advice on this?

It might depend if your game running full screen changes the resolution.

If you run a game in fullscreen you can't click on the other monitor without it ALT + TABB'ing, its always been that way, if you mean the resolution changes on the 2nd monitor when the 1st is using fullscreen, then its due to the fullscreen ap/game not using the monitor's native res, or the same res as it does on the desktop at least.
