I've been using my trusty old Dell 2405FPW for going on 8 years now. It's such a good monitor I picked up a second one last year and so I've been using the 2x 24's side by side and I like this setup however, it is a bit of a tight squeeze fitting them on my small desk.

Can someone recommend me a decent dual monitor stand please? I want to spend as little as possible..

My advice is dont if you only want to spend as little as possible. I bought a cheapo chinese one off the bay and its pretty bad. only cost me £40 but I wish I had saved for something like an ergotron. Maybe the non adjustable ones are better but I needed the movement and buying cheap was certainly a mistake. The thing doesnt even stand straight because the clamp is so bad.

I was thinking around the £70-80 mark? I've seen some priced at over £150 and that's too much.

Type "ts742 dual monitor" stand into google you will find it. (Don't want to quote competitor to overclockers)

I have the same dual monitor stand at home and work.

Its around the £70 mark

Yer its a quality stand, its made of a strong Plastic - For the price it places it within the mid range. There are probably better ones out there but this stand is worth it rather then paying out for more expensive ones.

I have two 24 inch Monitors at work and at home, the stand hold them up really well, you can move the monitor into any position and the cable management is excellent. I really am happy with it. :)

Overall I have had no problems with it. Enjoy :)

Ergotron stands are fantastic but out of your price range. Can you not get a couple of cheapo tiltable wall mounts and measure/fit them side by side?

It would also free up some space on the desk :)
