Does anyone know if you can have a dual monitor setup using either -

2 x DVI-VGA adapters to effectively have 2 VGA outputs
1 x DVI-VGA adapter (and one VGA port already on the card to make 2 VGA outputs)

without having to get a card that has 2 VGA outputs as standard.

If so, do all cards support it and is it done any differently to using two monitors with DVI?
