hey there guys, new here and thought id ask a question thats been on my mind and wondering what others experience on the subject is.

at the moment i have a 22" 1650x1050 monitor and was thinking about getting another to add to it, however i would like a 24-26 @ 1900x1200 as my primary but im wondering if i shouldnt just go with 2x 22" @1650x1050 just for how it looks rather than 2 different sizes. worrying about pixel pitch etc

just thought id get some opinions on the subject :)

I have a 20" and a 24". it was only because I wanted an upgrade.

I would still say 24 + 22 is preferable to 2x 22.

It would be nicer if they did match up but it causes no real problems.

However I find the dot pitch on mine similar, with it being 1680x 1050 on 20" and 1920 x 1200 on 24". However a 24" and a 22" will be a bit more different, perhaps go for the 26".

different sized monitors is fine - you only need them to be the same size if you plan to set them all as one display, which is pointless with only two because you end up with a bar in the middle from the Bezels.

i'm currently using two 24" monitors, one in landscape (primary) and the other in portrait and it's completely fine.

i have to say, 1200x1920 is awesome.
