Dual Monitors - Best Software?

Just ordered a second monitor which I'll be using as my main monitor, with my current monitor being set up as the dual one.

I know Windows can set it up fine, but I've heard that it's better to get a program that does it better and gives you more options etc.

So which program would you guys suggest I use?

Thanks.

My personal preference would be Display Fusion, and MultiMon is pretty good too.

The main reason for using one is because without it, windows just doesnt bother giving you a taskbar. I like having a taskbar personally, so being able to swap to another app and pick which window on the 2nd monitor helps.
DF lets you put shortcuts on there too, which can be handy as i'll put shortcuts for things like teamspeak on there, not one i'd put on the primary taskbar but its out of the way and when im jumping into a game its convenient without cluttering.

The current version of windows does this natively..

This. I can understand if you're using 7 or before, but you don't really need extra software for 8/8.1.

Yeah and you can even have a taskbar showing only windows open on that monitor.
I've not found a feature not in Windows 8 that I've wanted, though I may be missing something.

Thanks for the replies.

I'm still with Windows 7 at the moment, so will use Display Fusion for now then. Monitor is arriving within the hour so looking forward to setting it all up.
