dual monitors but can i clone a game onto tv please?

i have display output as dvi and other dvi as other pc monitor and hdmi lead going to tv, i dont wanna extend to tv but i would like to say transfer a game to play on tv if possible, or even close down montiors to then just play game on tv.

any info u need on my setup please ask, so far tried everything setting wise and keep making a mess, i did get a game working at one point not sure how but all black areas of game had red wavy dotted line all over

You need to ensure that the TV is the primary (preferred display) I think. Go into your graphics card driver software and for ATI go into "desktop management" > "creating and arranging desktops" and then select which display you need to be preferred. Not sure the process for Nvidia cards, but I'm assuming it wont be too dissimilar.

Again, for ATI cards you can then setup a profile and use Hotkeys, so that you can switch between display modes at press of a button. Unsure if this is possible on Nvidia but it's such a basic feature I would imagine so.

both monitors at pc.. all text and desktop went huge and seamed to extended on tv as well :( and i thought i would try a game and i moved it over to tv or dragged it, and there was red wavy lines all over it and more in black areas of lego clone wars game :(

not sure how to set this up, there's so many settings lol and its gets very messy. wanted main 2 monitors at pc to stay same desktop resolution and maybe turn em off and transfer to tv to play a game, don't matter if pc monitors have to turn off
