Hi All,
I have recently upgraded my old 17 inc LCD monitor to a 20 in Dell and have been pleased with my purchase. The problem I have is that I was running a plasma screen as my secondary display via s-video, this is no longer working as it was ;o(
My previous monitor resolution was a 17" running at 1024x768 and this just managed to fit on my plasma (I have a Panasonic 37" running at 852 x 480 VGA Resolution), however with the new monitors resolution running at 1680 x 1050 I only see a small amount of the desktop on my plasma???. I have tried various configurations with no joy.
I am running XP Home, with an ATI Radeon 9250 Graphics Card.
I suppose my questions are, can I have 2 different Resolutions running from the same graphics card ? or will I need to get another graphics card to support this ?
Are there any third party applications or setting's that I need to tweak to allow this to happen?
I have tried a few but none have had the desired results.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
TD
