Hello,
Not sure if this should be in monitors or Graphics Cards. Apologies if I'm in the wrong place...
I have a Radeon R9 200. Great little card. It has two DVI outputs.
It's on an ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 motherboard.
My PC has a DVI output onboard also - so in effect I have 3 DVI outputs.
I have two monitors:
An AOC Q2770PQU (2560x1440 native) - This is my main display and what I game on.
An LG Flatron L226WTQ O1680 x 1050 native) - This is my secondary
I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.
Here's my problem:
- I can't seem to drive the AOC on its own from the Graphics card. It works OK from the onboard DVI out and at full resolution.
- I can drive the AOC monitor from the graphics card but only if I also have the LG plugged into the graphics card and only at 1920x1080
If I try to change the resolution in windows on the AOC to its native 2560x1440, then it goes black (although the LG stays on).
I'm at my wits end - I've fiddled with the Radeon software but I just seem to **** it up some more.
Has anyone else encountered this? Would really appreciate your insight!
Thanks in advance!
