Dual Monitors (TV & PC)

Is it possible to have dual monitors with a TV & a PC monitor?

I have a 22" TV which has HDMI output and an Acer PC monitor which is VGA only, I want to use them at the same time but don't know if that's possible.

Sure you can, providing your motherboard / graphics card support it.

I have an asus mobo and XFX GeForce 240GT which has VGA, DVI and HDMI on the back

yes, that will output to both a VGA monitor and a HDMI TV at the same time

How do I go about setting this up?

just connect the cables and turn both on
on the desktop you can right click and go to nvidia properties and you should see both monitors and be able to set resolutions etc.

I have the PC monitor connected via DVI and the TV monitor connected via HDMI, the TV isn't be found but the PC monitor works fine, any idea's?

I have an Acer X201W PC monitor and Acoustic Solutions LCDW22HD TV monitor

Scrap that, I had to force TV and restart, just need to find the right resolution and I am sorted, thanks for your help
