Is it possible.
I have a X800GTO and have hooked up all 3 displays. I can only get output on the TV if I swap it with the 2nd monitor.
I really want all 3 working at once. Even if the TV is just a clone of one of the screens.
Both monitors are hooked up by the VGA cables and the TV via S-video...

So, can I get the TV working with the 2 monitors? Or is it impossible? :(

As far as I know, both ATI and Nvidia drivers only support dual display. If you want 3 displays then you will either need the Matrox thing, that can connect more, or add a PCI graphics card for the 3rd screen.

Ah right, that's a bit disappointing.
I could only have it like this for a week so it's not worth buying a new card :(
Thanks for your help :)

Was about to ask the same question. I have two TFTs setup. And I got a S-Video output on my graphics to plug straight into my TV (via S-Video).

I wanted the setup...
Monitor 1) TFT A
Monitor 2) TFT B
For movies only) TV

Are you sure this is impossible?

I'm pleased this thread is here cos it is asking exactly the same thing I wanted to ask.

Knowing now that the cards can only support 2 monitors at once, I wondered,, is it possible to use Ultra mon to set up different profiles that I could switch between in order to be able to view movies on my TV.

Currently I have 2 profiles, one for dual view ie using both my monitors, the second as a single monitor setup. It seems that I can only use ultra mon to set up profiles using the two monitors, ie I can't get it set up a profile that uses my primary monitor and my TV??? Am I missing something here, sould I be able to do this???

This is defintely not possible, the cards can only drive 2 outputs.

Thanks, am I correct in saying that the only way to accomplish this is to add a second graphics card? I currently have a GeForce 6800 XT. Would it be ok if I add another GeForce 6800 XT?

bump, still looking for an answer. I've never connected 2 graphics card on a PC before, so I'd like to double check.

I have a GeForce 6800 XT
Do I have to add another 6800 XT? or, can I simply get any PCI-E/PCI graphics card?

I will be using this extra graphics card to watch videos on the TV (which has VGA Input).

Thanks all.
