Dual Monitors - What cable?

I have two monitors arriving tomorrow and I'm a bit confused as to how I'm going to set them up - if they even can be set up on my rig.

I have an X1900XT Crossfire edition and it looks like so;

Now, I thought I would just go out and buy a 'DVI splitter' which would turn one into two (and run the monitors that way, assuming that's possible) but the lead that arrived this morning indeed splits into two DVI's but its main connection matches neither on my card.

I think the connection on the splitter is one that matches in with the left port in the below photo:

Any ideas to get around this?

lol not sure how your going to get around this unless you can find some sort of cable which goes from the "left" output on your card into a dvi...didnt you research this before hand?

I'm updating my graphics card in a few weeks, and bought the monitors because they were on special offer (have since gone up since purchase) - I was just wondering if it could be done with the current setup. :)

what the hell are those two connectors on the left:s

I'm pretty sure they are the 'CrossFire' slots for the graphics card. And most likely useless for anything outside of that.

As for the second image, I have no idea. :D

The bottom photo is the type you need! Has dual divi output, run one screen off each gives you dual

The top card is a CF master i think which uses the CF cable that should have come with the card to link the two up!

I'll ask around at work and stuff for ya

i dont think it can be done with a single CF master card. your only option really is to either buy a cheap card to run alongside the card or else sell up and buy a newer 8800gts/2900xt or something

What he said :)

Cheers for the replies. :)

I feared that may be the case - not to worry as I'm for getting an 8800 soonish but would have been nice to give it a blast at the moment.
