Hi, im running an AMD 6900 red devil...and have an Asus 35 inch TUF gaming curved wide monitor.. VG35VQ which is 100 hertz. I want to add a monitor to the side ( L shape setup ) which would be same height, but does not have to be curved or wide. Do i need to get a monitor with same hertz ?... as i noticed the smaller ones now are mostly higher hertz in that 'tuff' range ?.. thankyou.. oh and if someone has similar setup do they know a monitor that will fit the bill.

No need to match the refresh rate or resolution of your main monitor.
You may end up with 2 monitors with different colour gamuts/colour accuracy so may want to borrow a calibrator once you're up and running.

A 27" 1440p will be roughly the same height in both physical size and pixels. Refresh rate doesn't matter, they will both run at their respective rates
