Dual Monitors

I thinking about setting up Dual Monitors (extended desktop)on my pc, I have the asus ati 5850 video card with 1 dvi and 1 hdmi port.
do I need another video card or some other adapter to do this.

You can clone your monitor on most cards but Eyefinity is probably what your thinking about.

Nope, no special cards or cables needed.

However, I think the HDMI and the 2nd DVI are the same, so plug it into DVI-1 and HDMI. Read the manual it tells you properly.
I run 2 mixed screens this way. Eyefinity needs another adapter, and 2 identical resolution monitors.

Never knew that Philly ! Nvidia card here anyway. lol!

I think I will be buying 2 identical Monitors they both have dvi and hdmi on then to.
so should I buy Eyefinity adapter?
