I have two monitors connected to my R9 290 via DVI but Windows detect my first monitor as projector and my second monitor as computer, how would I switch them around where my first monitor will be detected as computer?

Its not detecting them as computer/duplicate/extend/projector its asking what you want to do. Display on "1st" monitor only, display same pics to both, display one desktop over both or only use "2nd" monitor.

Usually for similarly sized monitors people use extend. You can then drag them around in a different screen to arrange them left to right to match reality in case it detected them in a different order.

Before I did a fresh install of Windows 7, when I switch from monitor 1 to 2 using Win+P key, monitor 1 is computer only and monitor 2 is projector only but now it is visa versa.

In Screen resolution, it has detected that my main monitor is 2 and second monitor is 1, how do I switch them around?

As I said, click on one of the pictures and drag it to where you want it to be - e.g. on the left one and drag it to the right of the other - or switch the connectors but sometimes you cannot do that because they are different types or you are using a laptop.
