Have any of you guys noticed any difference with your graphics cards when the manual states you should use connectors from the psu joining into a single connector for the gpu?

On my old psu (hiper) I had the 2 into 1 connector, but not on my seasonic.
I have noticed no difference so far! Am I doing damage? Would it affect my overclock?

It's a 7900gt at 575mhz
