Dual PSU

I am unsure as to where to post this, So if it is in the wrong place please do move it.

I would like to put a second PSU into my PC. The reason for this is that I would like to do some "Playing" with my system. I have a poor quality PSU and a good Sea sonic Modular PSU. I Would like to use dual GFX cards for the sole reason that I would like to try out 3 Monitor gaming (I already have 3 screens). I currently have the poor quality PSU as my main PSU and would like to swap it for the better one, Using the Poor Quality one to power fans,lights, DVD drives and a few other things out side of the case. What I would like to know is would some thing like this cable ( I can make them ) Work ?

Yes it will work, but what PSUs do you have? You might be able to get away using just the Seasonic.

The Sea Sonic is the M12 SS-700HM 700W ( Bought for about £50)

And the other is an ATRIX 800W ( bought for about £30)

Just use the Seasonic, it will be fine on it's own. Adding another PSU will just add uneeded noise.

700W sounds enough... but that depends what you are powering... 480 are pretty power hungry..
