Quick question, I'm running 2*D5 pumps in my loop and they are configured a few components apart. I would like to have them configured together (linked).

Will this affect performance in any way?

It depends how you configure them, if you link them in say a series config, you will see an increase in head pressure and in turn allow a higher flow rate, good article here: https://martinsliquidlab.wordpress.com/2011/04/26/pump-setup-series-vs-parallel/3/

I use EK's D5 series pump: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-w...al-d5-pwm-serial-incl.-2x-pump-wc-945-ek.html

Running both at 60%, with a single pump running in that config I get a flow rate of 120 l/h. Hook up the second pump in that series config and the flow rate increases to 185 l/h. Do note, this is with a fairly large loop (external radiator, three GPU blocks' CPU block's, lots of fittings etc)
