Dual Res Bay / Pumps

Is it a good idea to consolidate to a dual bay (dual compartment) resiviour, or even a dual bay dual compartment, with dcc pump fittings to.

I have one liang dcc currently and was wondering whether it would be wise to get another dcc and upgrade my other loop to match.

You can have a DDC in the res. Purely personaly reasong for wanting to do so

Dual bay res with pump
Advantages: less hose, neat and tidy
Disadvantages: harder to isolate vibration so can be noisier than separate pump and res

I have an XSPC dual bay res with DDC pump in my old rig. Works fine. Not particularly noisy. Looks reasonably bling from the front of the case.

Other people have tried them and gone back to separate res or a pump with a res-top.

Dual pump & dual compartment - only if you are running 2 loops. Dual pump and single compartment - only if you have a lot of restriction in your loop, ie. loads of waterblocks, multiple rads etc.
