Getting fed up of playing on my laptop, and now want to be able to run my differant accounts on a dedicated screens. So far looking at i5 2500k and the ICQ 6970 2GB, with this card would it be possible, at a future point, be able to go for three screens? Also not to bothered about eyefinity for normal games, ill happily play on the one.

also need suggestions on MoBo, Ram and CPU cooler.

budget as follows:

Mobo - £150
Ram - £100
CPU cooler doesnt really matter, as long as its good.

Looking at monitors in the 22-24" kinda range. Not really too fussy about IPS ect, i think my games look good on my Samsung lappy screen =P

Case, sotrage and PSU are allready sorted.

Cheers
Ben

6970 should do 3 screens no problem, although you may need an adaptor depending on the monitors you use.

What PSU do you have? Just need to make sure it can run the 6970 with no problems.

As for running the 3rd or 4th screen you must use the displayport for it, so for the ICQ 6970 you will need this active displayport to DVI adapter: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CB-000-XF&groupid=1929&catid=1757&subcat=

This 8gb Vengence RAM is on offer for this week until next Wednesday: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-300-CS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1517

This board will do nicely: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-051-AK&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=1990
With this board you can connect another two monitors to use the 2500K's inbuilt GPU, although I don't know how well for Eve online that will run.

This is a good cooler to use: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-001-GD&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=1395

But if you have a big case and don't mind spending a lot, then you could go for this cooler, although I'm sure others will have different opinions on this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-078-TR&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=1395

If you're not too fussed on monitor quality then this OcUK V-Line will do nicely. The manufacturer is Phillips: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-019-PH&groupid=17&catid=949&subcat=
