Dual Screen for Games

Hi there.

I mainly use my PC for video editing, and games.

I use a dual screen set-up. 1920*1200 as my main screen, 1280*1024 on the second screen. Just use the big screen for games.

Question is; Will it make any difference to performance in games if I disable the second screen (or perhaps even just turn it off)?

Clearly it is a little bit of hassle changing profiles in CCC all the time, but would be worthwhile if there is an improvment in games.

Thanks

MY SYSYTEM:
Vista 32
4GB OCZ (2 x 1GB) 1066MHZ PC8500
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
BIOSTAR P43-A7 Socket 775 Intel P43 Moboard (not overclocked)
MSI 4850 1GB (OC)

I used to game dual screen quite a bit, and tbh the difference wasnt huge unless you had something going on witht he 2nd screen, like a film or something running. You should be fine. If in doubt, try a game that runs slow, then disable the screen and see if it runs better.
