MiniDP -> DVI and HDMI for the other would be cheapest. I picked up a MiniDP off a site for £12 each since I use 2 at work, HDMI is £1 for the rainforest.
Thank you, so just normal adapters would be suffice?
I saw the StarTech.com USB 3.0 to DVI / VGA External Video Card Multi Monitor Adapter to use the USB port and then a MiniDP -> DVI but have read articles saying this does not actually work in dual screen.
A MacBook Air only has one video output - the Thunderbolt port. If you want something guaranteed to work then you're looking at a DualHead2Go or similar device, I don't think Apple officially support MST on the DisplayPort yet.
I have a multilink MST adapter I use with my dell 12" and it works great with display port, however it doesn't work on my 2013 Macbook Air for multiple monitors =(
