Hi all,
Purchased a LG W2363 from Overclockers yesterday and it came today, very happy with the product (screen appears immaculate, when checking for dead/stuck pixels), but I have an issue (with my setup, not the monitor).
I want to use my old monitor (Samsung 226CW) as a secondary screen; however, when both screens are plugged into my ATi 5870 the picture on the LG monitor becomes unstable, flickering overlaying images when any sort of movement happens. I tried adjusting some settings, such as the refresh rate. My new monitor is using the supplied Dual-link DVI, and my old one has one with half the pins.
At first I thought it maybe a faulty cable; however, when the LG monitor is plugged in by itself, there are no issues what so ever.
Any thoughts on how I can get it to work? or is the Samsung resigned to the scrap heap?
EDIT: Tried swapping the plugs/sockets around and still has an apparent issue on only the LG
EDIT2: Been messing around again today, and when both monitors are plugged in the PC appears to be almost "freezing" intermittently. E.g. I will try to move the mouse across either screen and it will pause every so few seconds
