Dual screen problem

(Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, didn't know whether to post it in monitors or graphics cards!)

So I turned my pc on yesterday morning, and for no apparent reason it was only running on one screen, when I've been running dual screen for nearly 3 years without any issues. So I restarted it and the problem fixed itself, was running fine on two monitors. When I got home it did the same thing, but this time the restart didn't help. I pulled out the DVI cable from the back on my gfx card for the monitor that wasn't working, plugged it back in and it worked fine.
...THEN today, I get home from work and it won't work at all. I've restarted, tried new drivers and tried swapping the DVI ports. I have a horrible feeling its one of my monitors.

I've got a 24" Samsung P2450 and a 19" GNR piece of rubbish. The Samsung doesn't work when connected to either port, and the GNR works on one port. Got a DVI cable for the samsung, and a VGA with DVI adaptor for the GNR.
I think the Samsung itself might be faulty, because that one doesn't work on either port, whereas the GNR works on one of the DVI ports. But the HDMI does work on the Samsung (unfortunately my gfx card only has mini HDMI)

I've tried fiddling around in nVidia control panel, and screen resolution but to no avail. It only detects one monitor.

Running off a GTX 460

If anyone could shed any light on this I will literally love you, suddenly dropping down to one 19" monitor seems horrible!

Thanks

Have you tried the cable that works with the Samsung? It could be a faulty cable.

Sorry if you have already tried this its been a long day lol
