Dual screen question

Just ordered an E207WFP off OCuK, and currently have a Syncmaster 172x. Two quick questions:

Can I plug both monitors into my 8800GTS for dual screen, and would they both have to be at the same resolution or can one monitor be at 1650x1080 with the other at 1280x0124?
 
Ah yes, thanks very much :) I'm assuming WMP11 could completely cover one screen while I game on the bigger monitor? That would be pretty amazing.
 
I should mention I'm using Vista x64 - no difference, right? Seeing as it's still early days. The nvidia drivers (100.65) are official and WHQL-signed, so there shouldn't be any problems, should there? Sorry if these questions seem silly, I've never done dual-screen before :)
