Dual screen set up

Hi all,

I've been trying to set up dual screens on my PC with no luck.

Screen 1 has DVI, HDMI and VGA ports - LG Flatron W2361V
Screen 2 has a VGA port only - Yuraku MABWBA

Graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 Ti - ZOTAC

I've tried all sorts of permutations with the cables and adaptors that i have but can not seem to get it working correctly, main problem is that when i get the 2 screens on the resolution on both screens is only 800x600.

Any ideas or idiot guides please

Which Zotac 780 Ti? There seems to be a few different models.

Are you using a DVI to VGA adapter for the Yuraku?

Zotac GTX 780Ti OC 3GB 384BIT GDDR5 - bought from overclockers

What OS are you using?

In the 'screen resolution' section in windows 7 for example (sorry I am on my work machine), it says 'multiple displays:' have you set this to 'extend these displays'? I think its set to 'duplicate these displays' by default and that might set the resolution to 800x600 on both.

running windows 10 now, but was on 7, but i get the same issues with both OS
