Hi

I have two new dells in boxes, currently and I am unsure how to set these up in a dual role.
Any guidance in this area would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to of course to have different files open on each screen, but does my mouse just automatically go from screen to screen or do I need software for that to happen?

Are the monitors connected together or do they both plug into my video card.
I am using windows 7 Prof.

Thanks

You'll normally need to plug both your monitors into your graphics card, Windows 7 should take care of the rest. You'll be able to move your mouse cursor from one screen automatically.

If you right click on the desktop and go into screen resolution you can choose which monitor you want to make your primary display, which will be the default display your programs open on.
