Dual Screens

I'v been running 2 monitors from my laptop for a while now and i need one of them for another pc. When i try and turn off the monitor in the ATI Display Setting to go back to a single screen setup it says:

Your selected configuration is not available since a portion of your extended desktop would not be visable. Please change these settings.

I'v tried moving all windows and icons off the other screen onto my laptop screen so that it's completely empty, but it doesnt help.

What else can i do?

make sure the extend desktop to this monitor is not selected on the second screen

right click, disable secondary, job done. This program is a necessity with dual screen tbh.

right click on the desktop goto proppeties then settings then click on the second screen and untick the box that says extend my windoes desktop on to tjis monitor
