i have just put in a geforce 7600gt graphics card and wish to use the s-video out to connect via an adaptor into an rca input on a 32" tv to use an av channel as a second monitor (for dvds and stuff)
i've installed the driver's but i don't know how to get it to output to the tv. anyone know?

Just a quick thought, my 7800GT has what looks like an S Video out on it, but its actually a VIVO port that requires a breakout cable that has all sorts in it. Make sure this isnt the case, becasue connecting it straight to the VIVO port with an S Video cable wont work.

when i bring up control panel (i'm using vista ultimate) and then go to Personalize and then Display settings and right click on the second screen logo and click attach it doesn't seem to work! neither does the nvidia control panel! what am i doing wrong?

my tv only has scart or rca inputs. i'm currently trying to connect to it using a vivo port to rca connector which is connected to the AV2 scart connection using an rca to scart adaptor. on the nvidia control panel i can't get the computer to detect the tv. would a dvi to rca adaptor make any difference?

It should work, im guessing its not working ATM beacause of a vivo/s-video problem, don have any experience with it TBH, my only experience with s-video is one i'd rather forget.

I would guess if you use the two 'normal' dvi/vga outputs on the graphics card, the pc will detect both screens ok. i think, lol

i got mine off a mate so i don't have any of the things that came with it! i have an adaptor to connect it to the screen. i can't find anywhere in the uk that sell a dvi to rca adaptor? anyone know where i might get one?

Do you not have an option in the graphics card extended menu (advanced) to "Force Detection" of your TV?

Should be there?

You're card will just output even if the cables not connected.
