Hello all.

I'm looking for a pair of monitors to be used for a dual screen set up. The main use will be photoshop work so the colours will need to be fairly accurate.

Other uses will be general use, such as web, office apps, desktop publishing. No games will be played!

As it'll be a dual screen set up, the monitors wont have to be huge. I was thinking around the 20-22" range.

Budget, well, as cheap as possible without sacrificing too much quality.

Please, if anyone can help out i would be very greatful.

Thanks,

Gil.

Look at CRT monitors, I know they're not space saving, but they go up to 2560 resolution and the colours are top notch

Otherwise look at NEC monitors, they're so nice for colours

Hi, thanks for the replies.

There wont be space for CRT's and i don't know if we could cope with their ghastly presence on the desk! :)

I'll have a look at NEC.

Thanks again.

ok, i'm really stuck now. So many monitors to select from and i really have no idea what is what.

As i said before, the main priority is decent colour reproduction as the monitors main uses will be photoshop work and desktop publishing.

Please throw some more idea's my way. Budget is about £200 per monitor, so £400 max.

Thanks,

Gil.

get some samsungs cheaper

Yeah you probably can but they will most likely have tn screens in them, where as the dells have ips screens which will give you far more accurate colour reproduction, which for the OP's use would be a far batter bet!

Those dell screens are rather tempting, thinking about one or two myself.
