There are plenty of dual sim phones on the market the issue I'm having is when I answer a work call on my work sim it drops the connection to my personal line this means that I lose internet access on my phone, my personal phone provides the internet. I found this term dual sim dual active but I can't seem to find a handset that supports it, I would assume this is an old term and manufactures have stopped producing handsets to support this function.

I'd welcome any advice with regards to a handset that can handle calls to two SIMs simultaneously.

Interesting...Something I've never thought about or has cropped up as an issue, but I've just tested your theory and my dual Sim S22 Ultra doesn't allow Sim 1 data while on a call on Sim 2.

Main reason is due to battery drain, having both SIMs active will use a lot of power.

I'm curious if maybe VoLTE is potentially the cause of it, since it needs to use 4G to do the call. Does the phone have an option to turn this off? Not all Android phones offer this.

I'm in the market for a new phone it's just a matter of finding a suitable handset. Currently I'm using a OnePlus 6 but I have no strong allegiance to any device or OS.
