Dual SLI HDCP Resolution Limit?

In the process of putting together a new rig, however, I read somewhere that there was a resolution limit when using 2x Nvidia cards in SLI for HDCP content such as Blu-Ray.

Is this the case or have Nvidia fixed this issue?

There is a limit on dual link DVI cables and some nVidia cards.

PowerDVD 7.3 wont work above 1280*800 with my 8800GTXs (both with SLI enabled and disabled) and Dell 3007 but works fine at 1080p output from my 8600GTS in my HTPC to the Dell.
