Hi guys,

Have recently installed Windows 7 64bit and i'm having difficulty getting my Play Dual USB playstation adapter working. It see's the adapter and both controllers in device manager but i can't configure anything for them. Has anybody got these working yet with their PC?

i got this working on vista 32bit by diabling the second connector port on the play usb adapter in the device manager, has some random usb name and was a bit hit and miss working out which was which but worked for me (was playing vice city just a couple of weeks ago on vista with my pad).

not tried it on win7 yet but will have a go this evening unless anyone else can come up with anything else.

ye, i've done my own research for about 30 mins or so and the information i could find was as you guys say. For 32bit it will work but not for 64bit, oh well, at least i still dual boot xp!

I have the Rock fire one and uses the default windows set-up in 64bit, which was a pain for some games as you couldn't control the dead zones so I gave up and bought a 360 pad...

I'm using a superjoy Dualshock/USB adaptor just fine, have been through Xp32, Vista64 and Win7-64, all without drivers

It might be down to your USB chipset.

I had problems getting my PS3 SF IV arcade fightstick to work on my PC, but a USB PCI card with a VIA chipset solved the problem.

Just search for "USB VIA CHIPSET" on the big 'A' online retailers site.
