Hi guys, need a bit of help.

I currently have a Asus RT-68U Router, Virgin 152Mb, plusnet 80Mb.

I am trying to get load balancing to work. I Have the router seeing both connections in, however when running Super seeded Torrents it seems to be only using my Primary(plusnet) connection.

My torrent Program is Rutorrent 3.6 running on a Qnap NAS. Any ideas were I'm going wrong with this?

I understand i won't be able to see a high speed on a speed test but torrents/usernet should be able to make the most of the bandwidth.

Thanks

From my untrained eye the load balance ratio is wrong if you are trying to straddle both lines simultaneously. Shouldn't it be 1:1?

Try switching it to 1:1 and then rebooting the router from within the UI. I had a problem where my Asus didn't port forward until rebooted about 3 firmwares back.

Are you trying to load balance connected clients/services or are you wanting failover?

Whilst probably irrelevent, i gotta ask....why would you want this with 152mb from virgin? Does it fall over often?

Allowing a single LAN client to consume 100% of the bandwidth doesn't sound like load balancing to me.

Just after more speed, mainly for upload:D

i seem to have got it working, not sure how but this seems to exceed the speed of a single link.

any thoughts

well, it certainly looks like you do have it working and not far off max downloads speeds as well. (theoretical max of approx. 28MB/sec)
Nice one. :)
